Ancient Spanish Monastery | 16711 West Dixie Highway, North Miami Beach, FL 33160

With three beautiful Chapels to choose from, a church wedding ceremony can be tailored to your budget, the size of your wedding party, and the number of guests. The story of The Fillmore Miami Beach began in 1950, when Golden Era Legends graced the stage of The Miami Beach Municipal Auditorium. In the 1970s, having been renovated by Morris Lapidus and renamed Miami Beach Theater of the Performing Arts, it became a regular stop for touring Broadway shows

The 1990s saw the birth of the theater as both a great theatrical and performance center as well as a concert hall. In 2007, the theater was again reborn, undergoing a multi-million dollar transformation. Operated by Live Nation, the future of the music business, The Fillmore Miami Beach at the Jackie Gleason Theater showcases the biggest names in live entertainment. The Garden Building | 175 Northeast 40th Street, Miami, FL 33137

Designed by K/R Architecture Principal Terrence Riley, The Garden Building is a sleek and modern addition to the Design District venue portfolio. The building is LEED Gold Certified and features 4,515 square feet of blank canvas for your event, overlooking NE 40th Street, the heart of the Design District. As guests approach, they will be wowed with the building's unique facade featuring an inset of vertical sculptural lighting. Guests enter through a private back entrance to the space. Event possibilities are endless, from sit down dinners, to cocktail parties and meetings.

The Historic Alfred I. Dupont Building | 169 East Flagler, Suite #5, Miami, FL 33131

The Alfred I. Dupont Building is Miami’s only Art Deco skyscraper and a representation of Depression Moderne architecture. Built in 1939, the restored mezzanine level began serving as an elegant special event space in 2001.

A former bank headquarters, the 22,000-square-foot space with two distinct ballrooms boasts wall-to-wall marble flooring, hand-painted cypress wood ceilings, original brass scrollwork on gates, and original teller windows and bank vaults.

The International Fishing Hall of Fame | 300 Gulfstream Way, Dania Beach, FL 33004

Welcome to the IGFA Fishing Hall of Fame & Museum, South Florida’s most unique location for meetings and events. Enjoy a stunning visual setting and a variety of interactive experiences. The 4,700 square foot Hall of Fame room features life-size replicas of world record catches suspended overhead, a beautiful and sophisticated backdrop for social or corporate events. It is available for evening rentals and can seat a maximum of 300 banquet or over 1,000 for cocktails. The Events Hall is a modern, A/V equipped meeting space available for daytime or evenings. The 3,300 square foot room can seat a maximum of 300 theater style. Smaller conference rooms are also available. The IGFA is a registered 501c3 not-for-profit organization and all space rental fees directly support our education programs.

The Kampong | 4013 South Douglas Road, Miami, FL 33133

Located on Biscayne Bay in Coconut Grove, Florida, The Kampong contains a fascinating array of tropical fruit cultivars and flowering trees. The garden is named for the Malay or Javanese word for a village or cluster of houses. Some of the first plantings there came from Indo-Malaysia, brought there by the renowned explorer/horticulturist who introduced these species to the United States and who owned the property in the early 1900s. The collections were expanded and diversified by the next owner, who eventually gifted the garden to the NTBG.

Kampong Planting Heritage collections from Southeast Asia, Central and South Americas, the Caribbean, and other tropical locales create a cornucopia of exotic fruit, including candle fruit, peanut butter fruit, egg fruit, cocoplums, and over 50 varieties of mango. Numerous species of palms, cycads, and flowering trees are studied by scientists from the world over. The Kampong serves as the mainland campus for the NTBG's educational courses, as a living classroom used by universities and colleges for botany and horticulture courses, and is a popular spot for plant enthusiasts of all ages.

The Moore Building | 4040 Northeast 2nd Avenue, Miami, FL 33137

The Moore Building is located in the heart of Miami's famed Design District. This historic venue was built in 1921 as the furniture showroom space for Moore and Sons. The truly unique building boasts four floors of arcaded spaces totaling more than 20,000 square feet. The soaring central atrium accommodates 4,400 people for receptions and 1,100 for seated events.

On permanent display in the atrium is the site-specific installation "Elastika," created by Iraqi-born London-based architect, Zaha Hadid, and commissioned by owner Craig Robins, president of Dacra. Together they wanted a design which complements and at the same time contradicts the period in which the Moore Building was built.

The Moore Building is the Design Districts most well known venue and has been said to be an ideal choice for events.

The Rooftop Garden | 175 Northeast 40th Street, Miami, FL 33137

Perched atop the newly constructed Garden Building in the Miami Design District is the Rooftop Garden. Designed by landscape architect Nathan Browning with Island Planning, the 5,198 square foot garden features three fully mature Mahogany trees, a maze of Jamaican Spice-Wood hedges and is accented with philodendrons and Railroad vines.

Ambient contemporary lighting and expansive marble seating create an interweaving of landscape and structure which will enhance any event. Your guests will be nothing short of impressed when they step into the Rooftop Garden.

The Robert and Judi Prokop Newman Alumni Center is more than a new building. It is a gift to our graduates in honor of all of their achievements. Situated on the University of Miami Coral Gables campus, it is a home away from home for thousands of our alumni. The center offers graduates, the university and the community state-of-the-art facilities for gathering, working, celebrating and remembering.

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is a National Historic Landmark that preserves the Miami estate of agricultural industrialist James Deering to engage our community and its visitors through the arts, history and the environment. Built between 1914 and 1922, Vizcaya is one of the most intact remaining architectural examples from this era in United States history, when the nation’s wealthy industrialists built lavish estates inspired by the palaces of Europe. Vizcaya features a Main House with 34 decorated bedrooms, 10 acres of formal gardens, an orchidarium, a rockland hammock, mangrove shore and a historic village that will be restored for additional venues for programs and community outreach. Whether it is a corporate event, a wedding or another special occasion, Miami’s historic Vizcaya Museum & Gardens provides an impressive location.

Wine Spectator Restaurant & Laboratory | 3000 N.E. 151st St. North Miami, FL 33181

Wine Spectator Restaurant Management Laboratory
This fully-operational restaurant serves as an on-site laboratory in which students can get the experience of operating a restaurant without having to leave campus. The Advanced Food Laboratory and the Mel Dick Wine Tower provide students with dedicated spaces to practice their skills in the areas of food and beverage management. Technology is integrated seamlessly through the use of cutting-edge tools that provide guests and students with an experience that can be found in highly-rated commercial restaurants.

These tools include:

• iPod and iPads units and docks
• Interactive podium
• Interactive control touch panels

• The ability to capture and stream events
