This perfect little package may take some work to construct but it will feel just like Christmas when you are sipping it in front of the fire or in our case the pool.
We promise our White Christmas cocktail will be the most comforting treat ever, even in 75 degree “winter” weather. 🙂
1oz white chocolate liqueur
1oz vanilla vodka
1oz rosemary simple syrup
2oz steamed milk
· Rosemary Simple Syrup : Stir together first 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water and 4 rosemary sprigs in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, boil 1 minute or until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat, and let stand 30 minutes. Pour liquid through a wire-mesh strainer into a cruet or airtight container, discarding rosemary sprigs. Cover and chill 4 hours. Garnish, if desired. Syrup may be stored in refrigerator up to 1 month. Makes about 1 1/2 cups.
· Chocolate Curls: Slide a vegetable peeler along the edge of a room temperature chocolate bar and add as a topping on cocktail.
· Cookie Ornament: Buy or make a batch of round cookies such as chocolate chips or the chocolate covered biscuits in the photo. Use a skewer to poke a small hole in the cookie and slip a thin ribbon through. Tie the ribbon around the mug’s handle allowing the cookie to dangle as an ornament.
Combine all liquid ingredients in a festive coffee mug. Top with whipped cream and chocolate curls and adorn with a rosemary sprig stirrer and chocolate cookie ornament.
