Late last year, our very own Director of Sales & Marketing, Sabdy Pacheco (now Williams!) finally tied the knot.  Sabdy and Cale, both University of Florida Grads (#GoGators), held a traditional ceremony at First United Methodist Church of Downtown Miami on a gorgeous sunny day in October.  The two, having dated for 8 years, wanted to really give their guests (traveling from all over the US and internationally) a taste of Miami.

The A Joy Wallace team oversaw all of the meticulous details to make this wedding an unforgettable night.  Sabdy’s main goal was to create a party atmosphere in a unique space to bring their circle of cultures together!  For them, there was no better space than the Temple House, a modern/clean building right in Miami Beach, which would be a perfect canvas for any design creation.  The two did not have a specific theme set in mind, just a modern look that was still “warm” and inviting.  The colors used were inspired by a swatch Sabdy found of a temple, which used turquoise, jade, marigold, silver and white.  It was the perfect fit of color fusions…and turquoise just happens to be her favorite color!

Birthday Cookie Crumbles. It was the centerpiece to a custom fresh donut display that
followed the cake cutting!

Sabdy and Cale are big on art.  The AJW Team created a beautiful faux moss wall with falling petals, which
Sabdy wanted for their event entrance but also to keep in their home.  They also framed
their sign-in “book” below and hung on the venue entrance wall for all to sign.

For the other side of the Temple House entrance, the couple put together a “Memory Lane” art
wall with their favorite photos and keepsakes.

A sheer curtain created a divider between the cocktail area and dinner reception/party space.  Guests were just able to
see the candles glowing on the tables, and it gave the bride and groom a sneak peek of the room.
The curtain also provided a dramatic reveal to their first dance.wedding centerpiece - a joy wallace, weddings, temple house, decor, candles, first dance, bride and groom, bride, groom

No Miami party is complete without an “Hora Loca”, which for Sabdy and Cale, included
beach balls thrown from the mezzanine level, confetti canons, glow sticks and “big head” cutouts!
