Our lack of snow (and well….overall athleticism), will unfortunately keep us out of the Bobsled and Freestyle Skiing races for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada. Luckily we have our own version of the Olympics to keep us busier than Shaun White…THE CATIE’s!
We are so pleased to announce that we have been selected as 2009 finalists for Best Marketing Collateral and Signature Caterer for Best Event by the International Caterer’s Association. We couldn’t be more proud of our team for these accomplishments. (Take THAT Lindsey Vohn!)
Best Marketing Collateral
Our Marketing Coordinator of Creative Media Kristina Raines (hey that’s me!), designed this marketing campaign with the help of Chef Elgin and Ryan Oswald our Graphic Designer. The gift was created for our Art Basel clients and mimicked an Artists Paint Box filled with colorful spreads, marmalades and honey; inviting the client to enjoy the kaleidoscope of flavors that is A Taste of Joy. See? And your parents said it was inappropriate to play with food…. HA!
Signature Caterer for Best Event
“Paris is always a good idea.” Audrey Hepburn
After a night spent amongst the re-creations of a Cartier store, the Fauchon Bakery, a Sidewalk Bistro as well as the Arc de Triomphe, our client could not have agreed more. This Bat Mitzvah Celebration was inspired by a 12 year old girl’s recent trip to Paris. When our Director of Sales Adelee Cabrera and our Creative Director Richard Randall were asked to replicate the city in her backyard, they confidently replied “No Problem!” The results were Tres Magnifique!
The AJW does have a great deal of love for France. But sorry Audrey, come 7:30 tonight, all bets are off! We’re Team USA, and while we most of us can’t snowboard, we’ll be cheering on our team in Vancouver, Canada for the 2010 Winter Olympics.
With particular emphasis on Apolo Ohno… 🙂
